Description
Understanding oneself and others is key to building a socially just coaching relationship, especially in a digital environment. This course will provide an overview of foundational competencies necessary to lead others as inclusive instructors, identify digital tools that can enhance your coaching relationships, and identify ways to help others shift their thinking.
Throughout the course, you will curate content, create or revise digital coaching platforms, and identify your own bias to be better prepared to work with others of all cultural backgrounds.
Objectives
- Learn about the impact mindsets have on relationships.
- Learn how to support adults to shift their thinking about challenging situations.
- Reflect on different coaching interventions, including the GROWTH Model with diversity and equity as a foundational component in the coaching relationship.
- Use digital tools to interact with coaches.
